Cheap Infrared Filter
I didn't know how well my camera would see infrared, so I didn't want to waste $90.00
on a 'real' IR filter. From B&H, I bought a Lee 3"x3" filter #87 and a Tiffen clear lens.
The total order with shipping was $28.85
Its more of a problem to keep both pieces clean, but it does work.
- From the 3"x3" filter, cut a 37mm circle to fit the camera lens
- Place the circle on top the camera lens
- Screw on the Tiffen filter
- Flash: OFF
- AutoFocus: ON
- Program AE Speed: 2 Seconds
- Tripod: Required
